Mr. Cremonini graduated in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Hydraulics from the University of Genoa and began his engineering career in 1982 at D'Appolonia. There, he engaged in diverse assignments including soil dynamics, structural analysis, and earthquake engineering. In 1984, he received a Research Assistantship from Carnegie Mellon University, where he focused on environmental engineering, groundwater hydrology, expert systems in civil engineering, soil dynamics, and geotechnical engineering. He earned a master's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering in 1985.Throughout his career at D'Appolonia, Mr. Cremonini worked on large-scale projects in civil, energy, and environmental engineering, as well as water resources management. He was promoted to Manager of the Environment Business Unit in 1992, and in 1999, he advanced to Manager of the Energy, Environment, and Infrastructures Division. In 2006, he became General Manager, leveraging his technical expertise and project management skills.In September 2020, he left the company, now part of the RINA Group, to focus on developing his estate on the Gavi hills, blending heritage preservation with sustainable winemaking and modern enotourism. This project included extensive restoration of his seventeenth-century mansion, construction of ancillary buildings, and reorganization of the villa’s ground floor for visitor experiences. He also optimized production processes, marketing strategies, and growth initiatives, creating an immersive enotourism experience that includes tastings, vineyard tours, and access to the historic Villa La Cedraia.Since August 2024, Mr. Cremonini has resumed his engineering activity in parallel as a Senior Engineering Consultant, contributing his expertise to major environmental projects.
