I graduated in medicine as an intern at the Gastroenterology Chair of the Sapienza University of Rome with a thesis on the use of a low-reduced-colic diet in cirrhotic patients selected for oral communication at the Annual Meeting of AISF and SINPE, I took a specialization in Gastroenterology at the same University by publishing a thesis on Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis published in the Italian Journal of Gastroenterology. I completed my PhD in Hepato-Digestive Pathophysiology in the laboratory of Prof Domenico Alvaro of the Gastroenterology Department of La Sapienza University studying in particular the Hepato-Biliary Pathophysiology on the model of Isolated and Perfused Liver (IPRL), cultures of cholangiocytes and in vivo models (BDL rats). I completed my specialist professional experience in the internal medicine departments of various hospitals in the Roma area (Paestrina/Zagarolo, Colleferro, S. Eugenio) Since 2000, managing a Hepatologist Outpatient Clinic.in December 2020 I moved to the internal medicine department of the S Eugenio hospital of ASL Roma 2, obtaining a position as senior consultant in internal medicine and hepatology.
