My scientific formation focused on the data analysis for GW search, in theextraction of signal from noise. My work was principally focused on the searchof signal with limited duration and unknown waveform. This require a generaltype of analysis, extracting excesses of power in the noise and estimating theconfidence of these excesses to be a GW candidate signal. The dedicatedalgorithms combine the data in the stream to the probability to satisfy the GWproperties, assuming they are coming from one of the possible locations in thesky. This require to scan the directions in the sky with the largest possibledensity in a limited computational time, so it is necessary to use algorithmswhich can be adapted to parallel computing software. I contributed to thepioneering studies of the characterization of source localization performances ofthe algorithms for transient search.
