As a Postdoc in Medicinal Chemistry my duties were on design, synthesis and characterization of new Histamine and Dimaprit compounds with high H4 receptors efficiency and selectivity. I synthesized small polar compounds structurally related to Histamine to evaluate the role of H4 receptors in human central nervous system. I started new lab projects related to Histamine research in an European scientific network with different professionals such as pharmacologists, chemists, biologists and physicians.Moreover, I was involved in coordination, supervision and teaching of Pharmacy Senior Sophister students attending to their lab training, and I did demonstrations in Pharmacy Senior Sophister and Junior Freshmen teaching labs.I wrote different scientific proposals and one of them won the EU COST Action BM0806.In addition to the research work, I gave a cycle of lectures, about the Mass Spectrometry tecnique, involved in the Master Degree in Pharmaceutical Analysis at School of Pharmacy.

My project as PhD was about the organic synthesis of small organic molecules structurally related to natural compounds as potential antitumor agents. I have also studied and developed alternatives synthetic method of natural products using a scientific microwaves oven (CEM Discovery).I developed a good knowledge in practical application of various analitical techniques (NMR, GC/MS, HPLC, Microwave reactions) to structure determination of the novel chemical entities.Moreover, I coordinated the routinely and extra-ordinary laboratory activities and supervised and taught of undergraduate students attending to their graduation thesis.I also assisted in project planning and I was involved in the implementation of novel solutions to unforeseen technical problems.
