Group CFO of Directa Plus Plc (listed on London Stock Exchange - AIM) and CFO of Directa Plus S.p.A.Directa Plus is a leading nanotechnology company, producing and supplying graphene-based products for use in consumer and industrial markets. Starting greenfield, I managed the growth of the company as Group CFO, defining its organisational structure, governance and strategy with the CEO. I set up accounting and controls systems and procedures, in line with best practices, building up an efficient and close-knit AFC team. I directly managed the various rounds of fundraising, liaising with venture capital, private equity and institutional investors. I successfully managed the listing of the company on the London Stock Exchange in May 2016, managing the end-to-end IPO process and ensuring the exit of the private equity fund. I managed two key acquisitions, including the due diligence activities, negotiation phases, closing and typical post-closing activities. The Group currently employs about 200 people.
