As the marketing and graphics director I work closely with Howard Backen and Ann Backen to design and produce the firm’s web, brochure, and presentation media. The liaison of PR materials for periodicals and publications. Developed a visual brand and graphic style which is completely unique to this firm. Backen & Backen has been featured in AD100 every year since 2007 and the firm is enjoying it’s busiest and most successful time in it's history.In 2013, I completed the firm's monograph From The Land: The Architecture of Backen, Gillam & Kroeger. As the Designer and Project Manager, this three year project required me to direct the creation of a new drawing graphic style. The design of a format and layout to accommodate an ever-changing content. The coordination of draftsmen, Architects, writers, editors, photographers, client representatives, and estate caretakers for over forty projects. Research and test materials, printing, and binding processes. Solely produce weekly custom prototype books in-house. From The Land is now one of the top selling architecture books. Recently our project, the Kunis-Kutcher Residence was featured in AD.
