Back in 2011, I decided to drop my plans of following a master in Business Economics in Lisbon and joined Anglotex – our family’s business.With zero experience in Textiles nor Business Management but with a natural ability for team building and selling, I proudly helped the company growing from an annual turnover of 1.000.000€ up to nearly 10.000.000€ in 2018.Anglotex is a textile manufacturing company who’s in business for 28years. We have a highly qualified and highly motivated team whose mission is to make our customer’s sourcing experience completely effortless. We’re proudly partnering with some of the best names in the Fashion Retail industry and Luxury. In 2018, we’ve launched an exclusive development unit whose mission is to help small brands and up-and-coming designers growing their businesses by providing them a close follow up, technical expertise and product advisory.Back in 2016, I co-founded Born Authentic, a fashion brand with a strong commitment for cultural and contemporary looks, who welcomes creatives from different disciplines to collaborate. I’m a well-rounded leader who relies on his Design Thinking abilities and creativity to continuously bring innovation to the business and solve operational issues while aligning them with the long term vision and goals. I’m obsessed for self-development and self-improvement as much as I am for creating and leading new projects. I found throughout these years that my energy and my passion are relentless. I’m not easily outworked.Having in mind that the fashion industry is the 2nd most polluting in the world, my goal is to keep growing our company and seeking new partnerships while continuously implementing more efficient and consciousness practices.
