• Maintaining purchase ledger and sales ledger accounts, syncing all invoices onto Sage via CRM and Auto-Entry;• Completing a variety of journal entries including various prepayments and accrual ;• Performing reconciliation to keep all purchase ledgers are up-to-date • In-depth understanding of VAT, Purchase Order system and Nominal Ledger postings;• Preparing accounts for VAT and annual returns;• Generating monthly sales report through pivot table in a time effective manner;• Working closely with Sales department to ensure customer's records are up-to-date;• Completing various bookkeeping transactions including sale/purchase invoices, PO documentation and dealing with internal Buying department.

• VAT Return: Quarterly VAT Return with compliance to HMRC VAT guidance• Excellent Sage 50 Accounts knowledge including monthly VAT report, and quarterly VAT submission• Bank reconciliation: keep accounts up to date, provide assistant for monthly management accounts process• Processing and payment of all employee and Partner expenses• General Bookkeeping: maintaining sales and purchase ledger, carry out accruals and prepayments• Ability to generate Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly accounting report• Dealing with PAYE and general legal document in relation to general paperwork for legal entity (as per client)• Setting up VAT return and general bookkeeping with practical experience in carrying out VAT returns, gained understanding of UK Tax System• Timely and accurate processing and payment of all supplier invoices • Keeping track of weekly petty cash record• Bank account, suppliers and customers accounts reconciliations• Taking calls and responding to emails to all supplier queries within 48 hours including various city councils• Checking and processing of various company card expenses
