Responsible for playing a leading role in the implementation of the Bolts strategic change plan in both the soccer and business aspect of the Club operation. Ensure that the long-range strategy achieves the Bolts’ mission, and that consistent and timely progress toward that goal is achieved by continuously evaluating effectiveness and currency of existing programs and suggesting and or implementing potential or recommended changes.Responsible for leading the technical operations and technical staff of the Boston Bolts (“Bolts”) player and coach development programs, competitions and leagues. Additionally, the Technical Director will ensure the strategic change plan is implemented in all existing and new programs. The Technical Director is part of the executive team and will work closely and collaboratively with the Board of Directors and CEO, together with the other senior management leaders to build out our existing programs to ensure the progress of player and coaching development, as well as business and other off-field programing.

Lead NCAA Division I “team” program by recruiting and developing qualified student-athletes, supervising assistant coaches, and organizing schedules.Conduct the program in a manner that recognize the primacy of academics by recruiting, supporting, and retaining student-athletes who will be competitive in the Patriot League. Ensure that the “team” program operates in compliance with all College, Patriot League and NCAA rules and regulations.• Provide leadership to team that achieves academic and athletic success• Coordinates recruitment of student-athletes. • Provides leadership to program. Maintains an environment that reflects the department’s commitment to excellence, integrity, respect and leadership. • Collaborate with sport administrator and/or Director of Athletics to develop annual goals for program. • Responsible for administration of all phases of the program.• Participates in marketing and fundraising initiatives. • Oversees operational activities of assistant coaches and prepares annual evaluations for direct reports.

* Direct the daily management of the residential SPIRE Soccer Academy* Make the student base at SPIRE the most diversified and inclusive group of soccer athletes ever assembled within one training environment.* Coordinate athletic development activities with related SPIRE divisions including Michael Johnson Performance, Mental Conditioning, Nutrition, Communication, Leadership, Sport Medicine/Therapy, etc. * Work closely with the academic side of SPIRE.* Promote SPIRE Soccer throughout the industry.
