When confronted with key decisions, I’ve often chosen the tortuous path. I don’t think that’s necessarily good or bad, but my intention was to always optimize for learning. I’ve led BD and partnership teams for more than 15 years, working with 4K+ partners across North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa. I am currently shareholder and CEO of a top100 adtech startup in Europe. - I was born in one of the most beautiful towns in the remote south of Italy, Bari.- At 20 years old, my curiosity towards the unknown led me to Glasgow UK as an exchange student while most of my friends were having the time of their life in Spain.- Since then, I've lived in 10 different cities across 5 countries and yes, I did end up in Spain a couple of years later, through a Double Degree scholarship at ESADE business school. - I started my career in the Aerospace & Defense industry. At 24 years of age, I grasped the incredible opportunity to program manage a $2bn defense contract between the US DoD and Leonardo, the leading Italian aerospace company, based in Washington D.C.- At 27, I took a 60% pay cut to relocate to Ireland and joined Google, following my passion for technology and the conviction that career is a marathon, not a race.- At 28, I said YES to job assignments in markets with the worst growth performance, turning them around from negative YoY to high, double digit YoY growth.- At 29, I was offered a large people management opportunity, covering for a maternity leave. I had to sign a contract amendment stating that I might not get my old job back after the maternity cover was over. I've remained a people manager ever since. - I led BD and partnership teams, managing BoBs of $400M+ in yearly revenue across 25 countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa.- At 32, I moved to Google’s HQ in MTV to lead the North America publisher acquisition team. - At 34, I was offered to lead the nascent AI BD for Google, with a focus on driving conversational AI partnerships with top developers and publishers globally.- At 37, I decided to leave Google and join Evolution Group as a shareholder and CEO, with the goal to take an adtech startup to the international markets.
