These processes often consume several days of work, yet they could be completed in just a couple of hours with proper review and automation. Typically falling outside the scope of existing ERPs, they do not justify the development of custom software, and invariably end-up relying on (subpar) Microsoft Excel files. Having resolved many of these issues in previous roles, I founded WHY Consulting in 2013 to address this gap and provide tailored Excel models to meet each client's unique pains and needs. While undoubtedly a more technical undertaking, it is also incredibly rewarding. Not only for the exposure to diverse companies and markets, but also for remarkable efficiency improvements achieved through these micro projects.
