Responsible for all related with cover needs of staffing, technical training, facilities for a successful Launch. Management and Control of budget and request of resources with Corporate (North America office).• Developed and implemented the Lean project “End of Line, Electrical Training Centers” - for Technicians and Engineers in final assembly with a cost of 395,000 USD - for 2 Ford sites (Cuautitlán & Hermosillo) including facilities and tooling for training purpose.

Responsible for the effective Operation in Closures Manufacturing (6 segments) and Framing (11 segments), assuring the quality and integrity standards such as: Dimensional, Surface, Welding and Sealing, Leading the functionability of Production, Quality, Maintenance, Safety and Staffing with 340 technicians, 6 Engineers, 260 Robots (Fanuc and Kawasaki), 6 Hemmers (presses) in two shifts.• Developed strategic plan for in order to certify 18 work teams as “Interdependents”.• Promoted ownership to production team in order to incorporate the MOS strategic plan (Maintenance Operating System) and the result was increased the Throughput to Potential from 82 al 95% - Best In Ford, compared with North America Plants.• Received recognition “Body Shop, Welding Certification and Sealing” from third party, for 3rd consecutive year with a 100% overall effectiveness (3,796 welding spots – First Time Through).

Led and Launched the new Lean Plant for building Cars, Final assembly and Maintenance area according Vehicle Operations standards in terms of: new lay out, building & construction, Facilities, Equipment’s, Conveyors, prototype area (Learning Center), hiring new talent for training and running production, Kitting Process, Materials flow logistic building the new Fiesta 2011 for Local and Export market.• Trained team (Salary and hourly) according “hands on” Training Plan, assembly and disassembly 5 complete units to confirm the Build of Process, technical training and Ergonomics. The Plan was concluded in a 100% for all workforce just 2 weeks before pilot units (tooling try out phase).• Resolved significant issues about Safety concerns during the incorporation in floor of: Facilities, Equipment’s, Conveyors, Workstation and all related with the interaction of People, Equipment and Risk. The result was 0 lost time case, 0 accidents.

Built Cars (Ikon) and Light Trucks (F150, 250, 350 and F450) in Final assembly running in 2 different Plants with just one production shift. Customer requirements in terms of Quality and Volume of units were exceeded in both facilities. Leadership and team building were success factor to meet and exceed the plant scorecard.

Led the feasibility program B410 (Eco Sport for Export market) in Brazil during 18 months, working together with Product Development team since Industrial Engineering standpoint. All studies about Materials, Methods for build of process, Equipment and Manpower were finished 100% on time according Ford standards, Policies and Processes.

Incorporated the World Class Manufacturing Plan with a Lean mindset, closing the gap to World-Class Benchmark and modeling the leadership behaviors, teaching and supporting the Lean manufacturing principles. The business results of this Cultural change were: Safety Culture: 0 Lost time case, Quality: Best in Ford Cars & Trucks and Customer Satisfaction 88%. VCA certification ISO 9001, Delivery: 0 Production losses, Cost: 1st place HPU (Hour per Unit) according Harbour Report, People: Presenteeism 98.7%, Employee Satisfaction Index 91%, Environment: Clean Industry Recognition and ISO 14K Recertification and Lean Transformation site (208,000 square meter - free area).
