Review the national payment systems environment, provide recommendations to the public authorities on the basis of international standards and best practices, and design and implement technical assistance programs. Assessed the market for remittances in 10 countries (8 as team leader). Since 2010, manage the publication of a World Bank flagships, the Remittance Prices Worldwide database. Devised and led projects such as Greenback and Send Money Service, both winners of innovation awards, as well as Pick Remit, the world-first smartphone application for real-time remittance cost comparison. Currently working on Greenback 2.0 on Remittance Champion Cities, the UK-Somalia Safer Corridor Initiative, and the Africa Postal Financial Services Initiative, all tasks involving a high degree of coordination including with partners and donors globally, relation with clients/national authorities, and management of human and financial resources.

The project where I worked offers reception to refugees and asylum seekers. It is managed by ARCI (Italian Recreational and Cultural Association), in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of the Interior, ANCI (Italian Municipalities Association), Municipalities of Trepuzzi (Lecce) and San Pietro Vernotico (Brindisi). The aim of the project is to help these people to integrate in our country, to learn Italian and to find a job. My activities have consisted in assisting refugees and asylum seekers during their integration process.
