Research and characterization of allelic variants in order to understand the involvement of Rap1 in the response to DNA damage;• Use of the Saccharomyces cerevisiae model system;• Use and in-depth study of classical genetic techniques, molecular genetic techniques and molecular biology techniques;• Use of computational techniques for protein-protein and protein-DNA interaction study. Retrotrascription extraction and quantification of mRNAs produced at the level of the conjunctiva.• Comparative analysis of the expression of specific mRNAs in different genetic backgrounds;• ELISA test to determine the concentration of total IgA, circulating in serum and mucosal, in tears and faeces • Cytofluorimetric analysis of cell extracts from the eye and sub-mandibular lymph nodes.• Use of immunology, cellular and molecular biology techniques as well as computational analysis. Application of PCR, RT-PCR, Real- time PCR electrophoresis, flow cytofluorimetry, ELISA, DNA / RNA extraction from cellular tissues, immunohistochemistry, cell cultures;• Participation in the journal clubs and lab meetings of the laboratory.
