I was responsible for Fuel Supply product strategy, design, development and application at Latin America, with worldwide collaboration.Main activities: - Work together with Headquarters for new platforms of global interest.- This is done considering the need for new specific know-how/technologies, resources, budget and time to market, to sustain the market leadership.- R&D budget management (25 mBRL), taking into consideration: Turnover, Fixed Cost, Investments, Purchase and Suppliers, Warranty/Quality Costs.- Engineering services sales to customers (20 mBRL).- Team management: responsibility definition for different customer and platform projects, series production support and field quality issues, manage work conditions, competence management, coaching, workload leveling and tasks support.- Collaboration with management board from all OEMs established at LA.- Sponsor for strategic design to cost and innovation projects.- Lead by content: in-depth design reviews during product development process.- Report to the Business Unit LA Executive Director and to the Global Engineering Executive Director.

I was responsible for the projects' portfolio and large projects' management at Components & Connectors and Powertrain Sensors divisions.
