Hi. I’m Marco Riva, an enthusiastic and motivated data scientist with a deep interest in technological innovation. After completing my Ph.D. research and publishing several papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals, I decided to transition to industry because I'm thrilled to use my programming skills and machine learning expertise to build powerful predictive models and deliver actionable insights to business problems.I recently completed the Springboard Data Science Track, a six-month intensive course in data science, machine learning, Python, and SQL, where I specialized in the Advanced Machine Learning Track. I enjoy modeling structured and unstructured data and implementing state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms to solve challenging real-world problems. I have more than 5 years of programming experience (Python, MATLAB) and I extensively used pandas and scikit-learn libraries for a variety of projects.
