I have been working for 2 years as a Buyer in the F1 division (GES - Gestione Sportiva) of Ferrari, focusing on the Power Unit components.The categories I managed - from Purchasing and Procurement sides - are Turbo System, ERS (Energy Recovery System / Hybrid), Exhaust, Air intake system and Bearings.Thanks to this experience, I gained a deep knowledge of production technologies as CNC, Carbon Fiber/Composites, Additive Manufacturing and electronics.

During my period in Webasto, I was a commodity and project buyer.As commodity buyer I was responsable for the A/C components suppliers, especially Heat Exhangers, Compressors, Valves and Filters.In the project buyer part I followed the new projects from the development phase till the first serial production batch. During this job I have worked very close to project management, engineering and quality teams.The supplier scouting was a very important part of this job and I had business trips to foreign suppliers (China, Romania, Poland, Turkey, Germany, UK, Italy)I was also encharged to analize the KPIs with the headquarter and I partecipated at the global purchasing meetings in order to define the common strategies.

During my 4 months training in Berco I worked in the Continuos Improvement team especially on Lean Manufacturing (SMED, TPM, 6S).I wrote my thesys of degree thanks to this experience with title:"Eliminazione della fase 20 di punzonatura manuale delle suole e SMED sulla linea Daewoo-5391L di produzione alberi lisci" ("phase 20 elimination of manual punching of the shoes and SMED on the Daewoo-5391L line of smooth trees")
