Satellite System Engineer in Navigation department working on projects both in Phase D and Phase A:Duties:• Preparation for launch and flight phases, participating in Launch Campaigns 12 and 13 with Falcon 9 at SpaceX KSC.• Support AIT by performing tests on both FMs (Flight Models) and EM (Engineering Model): - LC-SFT (Launch Campaign - SFT): determine satellite functional integrity health prior to Launch. - TTC Subsystem Check: determine the Health of TTC Subsystem prior to Launch. - Launch site last activities: final tests on SW, configuration, calibration and AOCS configuration check. - Listening Test: Satellite - Ground Segment link connection test and Special Operations. - NSGU Finalisation and Flight SW Finalisation: Upload the NSGU into EEPROM and OnBoard SW.- LTS-SFT (Long Term Storage - Short Functional Test).- IFT (Interface Functional Test): Electrical check at unit level.- FAI (Function After Integration): HW/SW integration test of the integrated units.• Supervise and the preparation of satellite tests, review of test results.• Participation in LEOP 12 and 13 campaigns in GCC Oberpfaffenhofen.• Writing Test reports and Technical procedures.• Participation in various TRR, PTR, NRB with ESA.• Definition of a LEO Payload, including: analysis of user needs, mission scenario description, user/ mission requirements, CONOPS definition and link budget analysis.• Technical Proposal for LEO-PNT.• System Autonomy and FDIR analysis - SAT and PL level.• Test Plan definition for AOCS and FDIR.Projects:• Galileo B3 - Phase D• LEO-PNT IOD - Phase 0/A/B1We.Create.Space.
