Marco Siebert has been working for Deutsche Messe AG in the field of international marketing and public affairs since 2007. As Director of International Relations, Marco has been spear-heading key Deutsche Messe globalization projects for well over 10 years now. Marco is responsible for political as well as economic developments with leading manufacturing countries, including leading the bilateral Partner Country Program of the Hannover Messe together with governments from the United States, India, China, Russia, Japan, Korea, Europe and Latin America. In Washington, DC Marco founded and manages the company’s pivotal U.S. political representation. In 2014 he implemented a strategic partnership together with the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) for initiatives in emerging und less developed countries. Strategic marketing encompassing influential associations and institutions as well as pathing the way for networking between industry & politics remain a focal point for Marco in bridging technologies and cultures from all corners of our world. Marco has furthermore developed strategies, communication plans and tactical implementation instruments for campaigns, as well as being the driver behind such initiatives, through-out the America’s, Asia and Europe. Marco Siebert started his career as a Key Account Manager of a large German Insurance company. Here his responsibilities focused on technical and mechanical insurance management. In consequent years Marco headed a wide array of international sales and marketing projects for such companies as: ITT Flygt International, Thyssen Krupp and Firestone. For these companies his main focus was on industrial expansion in European and U.S. markets. Marco has also served as a Senior Consultant for financial projects, marketing and communication for the German Association of Saving Banks before he became Vice President Marketing and Public Relations of the Saving Bank Hameln, Germany.
