-Generate 3D models of components to be programmed for CNC machining-Manage database used to track jobs processed by machine shop-Set priorities for jobs received into department and schedule jobs for machines-Assist machinists with day to day issues that surface during set up and production to reduce machine downtime

• Create assembly procedures for custom and internal cable drawings that conform to customer specifications• Oversee manufacturing process of military and commercial grade cable harnesses through close collaboration with assembly operators• Complete first article reports to document assembly process and make improvements for mass production• Responsible for keeping documentation, bill of materials and assembly procedures, up to date and in compliance with customer specifications with minimal delay during build process• Responsible for designing, developing, and rapid prototyping tooling used to aid in manufacturing processes through the use of 3D modeling software and 3D printing• Design custom testing procedures and fixtures for various cable harness designs by utilizing testing machine and scripts written in programming language, LUA, to ensure customer requirements are met• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues encountered during electrical testing of cable harnesses• Assist in training new engineers to ensure their proper adaptation to role as a manufacturing engineer• Disposition internal rejections and RMAs by analyzing failure modes to rework defects and improve future builds
