Managed a team of 25+ focused on FP&A, Corporate Controllers, AP and Travel, and Procurement functions. Prepared analysis and reporting for the CFO/CEO, Board and Executive team members. Strategically enhanced reporting capabilities, improved processes and reduced headcount generating savings in excess of $1M per year.Directed migration to a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as Business Lead. The system was delivered on time and within the budget adding new functionality. Developed and implemented analysis to support the prioritization and costing for new strategic initiatives and projects. Incorporated business cases for new initiatives and headcount and supporting them further with KPIs (i.e. payback, ROR) driving lower incremental cost increases, within 5%, and obligated the enterprise to focus on key areas to grow the enterprise.Set up new regional offices collaborating with senior leaders as key member and contributor, in Investments, Tax, Legal and regulators. Developed FP&A, annual financial statements, travel management and operating policies and procedures for new regions. Developed and implemented a waterfall cost allocation to costs to effectively develop cost/benefit analysis when prioritizing initiatives. Enhanced the model to incorporate business drivers, reducing divisional effort, more decision useful.Promoted to the role of Manager in Charge (MIC) for Ontario Teachers’ (Asia) Limited, to fulfil requirement of the SFC, the regulator in HK, to elect a representative to provide oversight of core functions and key business lines.Mitigated risk ensuring adequate insurance coverage for OTPP and its regional offices.Proactively implemented an automated expense approval process, prior to the ERP, with little disruption during the pandemic.
