I manage the development of the M345 aircraft's avionics by coordinating a group ofteams: avionics and armament systems, HMI, avionic SW, electromagnetic engineers.I define plans and budget, I monitor progress, identify risks and collect metrics. I conductthe system design reviews. I coordinate activities with the aircraft Chief Engineer, ground and flight test teams, Program Manager, Production, Procurement and Customer Support.

I managed the M345 avionics software through all its lifecycle from a clean sheet to thecertification, leading a team of 15 developers and test engineers.The activity included the definition of the development, verification and certificationplans and the support to the system and HMI design. I led the definition of the softwarearchitecture, followed the software verification activities and achieved high testautomation also for software with graphical output.Among my responsibilities were the conduction of the software design and certification reviews, the coordination with the system and safety engineers, with the software quality assurance and the certification liaison. I defined the requimemets for the test benches and the suppliers' Statements of Work. I contributed to the definition of the companyprocesses and procedures, and obtained the CMMI Maturity level 3.

I led the development team of the M346 aircraft's mission computer software, in charge of functions as navigation, communication, identification, systems monitoring, cockpitdisplays and controls management, alerts generation. The activity included systemrequirements elicitation, software requirements development, software design with UML, concurrent programming of mission critical software; SW-SW and HW-SW integrationwith Integrity178 Real Time Operating System; timing and stack analysis, peer reviews on requirements, code and test procedures; airborne source code rehosting for the M346flight simulator. I have been in charge of the project’s configuration management.
