Playtomic is a fast-growing start-up that specializes in offering sports players the ability to manage their sports life through an app. The app allows players to reserve pitches, organize matches and communicate with other players easily. During my internship in the department of Product Development, I further developed my ability in the improvement of products and the dynamics of developing. Additionally, this opportunity further allowed me to explore my interest in innovation, start-ups, and technology.My roles while at Playtomic were:-Continuous communication with partner clubs in Scandinavian regions for specific App Development. I was in charge of communicating with these partners, understanding their needs and suitably implementing in the application with the help of the software engineers.-Creation of investor decks. My role was to research and create decks alongside the CEO of the company for the captivation of potential investors.-Product Improvements. The department of product development would meet daily with the design teams and the engineers to brainstorm, discuss and plan how to improve the product. My role was the identification of issues and opportunities for the product and the possible implementation of these.-Communication with Hong-Kong as International Business Development Manager. I was in charge of communications and negotiations with the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Hong Kong government regarding a potential expansion in the Asian territory.-Playtomic and Playven merger. Alongside the co CEOs of Playtomic, I negotiated a merger between us and Playven, a smaller company with qualities we required. Under the direction of the co CEO, I was in charge of writing the merger proposal and carrying out the communications between the two parties, learning from and advising the co CEO's.
