• Serve as the unit leader for the Office of Undergraduate Advising, which houses both the Academic Advising team and the University’s Academic Resource Center.• Supervise Coordinators, Academic Advisors, and Learning Consultants working in UG Advising office, as well as support them as they supervise approximately 70-85 student workers depending on the semester.• Coordinate and support the advising work of 170+ faculty advisors across the university.• Partner with the University Registrar each semester to audit and clear all degree candidates.

• Serve as the lead advisor for the LAAH Advising center, providing leadership for all academic advising functions for advisors working with the departments of English, History, and Performance Studies, along with supervision of the center’s student workers.• Serve as the primary advisor for undergraduates in the Department of Philosophy while continuing all previous duties in the Department of Anthropology.• Redesigned the philosophy undergraduate curriculum in conjunction with a faculty member. • Partnered with a faculty member to design a university studies degree entitled “Society, Ethics, and Law” based on the American Bar Association recommended skills gained in a strong pre-law undergraduate education. • Collaborated in the development of a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology.

• Served as the primary advisor for all undergraduate and graduate students in the Department. • Met with potential students and their families to explain admissions processes, degree requirements, and University guidelines.• Coordinated the admissions process for all graduate applicants and assists with the departmental orientation.• Scheduled all classes taught by department faculty and graduate instructors.• Helped design and implement a new degree option for the department which allows students to earn a degree focused on archaeology as well as minor in museum studies.
