I currently study Engineering of Computing Systems at Politecnico di Milano, but I started to be keen on technology in 2013, when I first installed GNU+Linux on an old PC.I kept Windows and Ubuntu dual-booted on the main computer for several years, until during the 2020 lockdown I decided to permanently delete Windows 10, after Windows updates made me late for online lessons.From that moment until today I have immersed myself in the world of Open Source, trying different "distros" and finally finding in Arch Linux the one that's right for me.Between the knowledge I have acquired (and that I'm still acquiring today) from this experience:Intermediate / advanced level of GNU+Linux systems management;Intermediate level of website creation (HTML + CSS + JS, Hugo Framework, WordPress);Intermediate level of creation and modification of multimedia contents through Open-Source software (GIMP, OBS Studio, Olive, DarkTable);Basic programming level (C, C ++, Python);In addition to my interest in technology, I love running, from 800m to 10km, it does not matter if it is track, field or road. Running allows me to find the right balance and feel good. I also believe that the mental strength to run every day despite the countless commitments is something that can then be transferred to the world of work, where it is often the resistance that makes the difference.
