Member of the Executive Board together with the CEO and Industrial and Sales Director.• Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) implementation in five months, in alignment with company guidelines.• Installation of a new paper machine with an annual production capacity of 5,000 M/T, focusing on the external market and comprising a US$13 million investment.• R$500 million in transfer-price cost savings.• Leadership of a US$9.5 million cost-reduction program, comprising the entire company structure.• Review of working capital management processes, leading to a 10% annual improvement in cash flow.

Reporting to the Financial VP for South America, was responsible for coordinating a team of 50 professionals in South America (Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Venezuela), managing an annual budget of US$3.6 million.• Preparation of financial statements in BR-GAAP and US-GAAP for 21 business units in South America.• Administrative and financial management of the Pension Fund, with assets totaling R$130 million and optimization of administrative processes, leading to gains in excess of US$100,000/year.• Coordination of special accounting studies (divestment, acquisition, joint ventures).• Leadership of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) implementation process.• Implementation of a new legal entity for activities in the textile sector in Brazil, Argentina and Colombia, with a subsequent focus on spinning off the operation. • Integration in record time of former joint ventures in the textile, agriculture protection and automotive coating areas, in accordance with DuPont financial standards, reaching the financial purchase value in six months. The amount of annual sales of stakeholders involved in the purchase process totaled US$150 million.• Optimization of SAP-ERP processes, resulting in a reduction in controllership costs of US$400,000 in Latin America.• Leadership of the due diligence process of financial statements aimed at acquiring 50% of formal textile joint venture with annual revenues of US$80 million, concluded in 45 days, identifying important aspect for the negotiation process.• Stabilization of the SAP-ERP system in the Argentina unit, an investment that amounted to US$3 million.
