Started as a front-end developer writing static, table-centric HTML. Then enhanced the site's functionality with multi-browser compliant Javascript in the days before frameworks such as jQuery and Scriptaculous existed to abstract away the pain of such development.Eventually I moved to working on back-end of the website writing controllers and models drawing from the site's MySQL and Oracle databases adding many new features to the site.

Managed group of 5 developers responsible for creating and maintaining the site's search and checkout cart functionality written in Perl's Template-Toolkit templating system.Also hand coded static pages to artists' strict specifications using table-centric HTML in the days before CSS was widely adopted.
