In this role, I define the roadmap of Nokia ON Systems and work with pre-sales and supply chain to help delivering Nokia solutions to all our customers in a timely fashion. The portfolio OTN transport, OTN switching, and Ethernet switching solutions for Mobile Front Haul, Access, Metro, and Core applications.In my role, I coordinate a world-wide team of ~40 Product Manager.

In this role, I define the roadmap of Nokia 1830 solutions, across the different platforms that are part of the 1830 portfolio. This includes OTN transport, OTN switching, and Ethernet switching solutions for Access, Metro, and Core applications.I coordinate a world-wide team of ~15 Product Manager.

Product Line Manager responsible for the coherent transport and photonic solutions of the 1830 PSS solutions. In this role, I defined the roadmap of Nokia solutions in the scope of 100G+ coherent transport, ROADM evolution, and amplification solutions evolution.

I worked as an expert designer for photonic networks and as a consultant to pre-sales functions for the definition of customer-specific solutions in the area of coherent transmission.In parallel I supported Product Line Managers in the definition of new coherent solutions for the 1830 PSS portfolio of Alcatel-Lucent

I worked on advanced development programs together with universities, Bell Labs and R&D colleagues, focusing on next generation coherent transceiver and advanced modulations formats.

I From January to July 2010 I was involved in the development of 100G and 40G coherent transponders carried on in R&D labs in Nuremberg.My work was mainly foceused on configuring and testing DSP algorithms at the receiver and I also contributed to develop software for testing the functionalities of the transponders.

I was a visiting student in the Optical Network domain working on WDM transmission experiments and simulations using advanced modulation formats combined with coherent reception. I focused on the study of nonlinear effects and of the techniques needed to improve the signal robustness to such effects.
