Currently assigned as R&D Team Manager (Connectivity & Smart Devices Team + Materials Innovation). I am leading a Research and Development team focused on electrification, smart devices and new materials integration on car seats and interiors. I am responsible for research, planning, and implementing new technologies and protocols into the company, overseeing the development of new products.Very good experience in:- writing new requirements and test procedures- requirements analysis- dealing with suppliers- requirement validation- timing plans review and approval- diesel injection system and air system in automotive architectures.Strong knowledge of electronic circuits worst-case analysis, writing HW and Firmware test procedures, approve suppliers validation reports and very good knowledge of standard automotive controller architectures (acquired when working for General Motors).Experienced as laboratory technician and as research laboratory supervisor gained when working as researcher. Very good ability to use traditional test instruments (oscilloscope, multi-meter, logic analyser, function generator and spectrum analyser). Knowledge of production processes of printed circuit boards and assembly processes of electronic records with the most modern technologies. Good knowledge of software for printed circuit boards design and management of libraries of components; good knowledge of mechanical design software in three dimensions with rendering functions; knowledge of operating conditions in space-oriented and automotive environment and design of electronic and mechanical equipment operating in that environment. Graduated in Telecommunications Engineering with an electronics-oriented study course.Great teamwork skills; fluent English language.Software:Very good knowledge of MathCad® used for worst-case analysis of electronic circuits.Good knowledge of ETAS® tools in combination with dSpace® test bench for diesel engine control units test.Basic knowledge of C programming language.Knowledge of National Instruments LabWindows/CVI® suite.Knowledge of Expedition PCB by Mentor Graphics® suite.Knowledge of Rhinoceros® (CAD software).Good knowledge of Microsoft Office® suite.
