I’m a Senior Mechanical / Application Engineer, Project Manager, and Team Lead on the management track at MTU America, a Rolls Royce company. For years, I have expedited diesel engine and application development—providing customers with leading-edge engines and engine-powered equipment for off-highway applications.Together with international colleagues and teams, I have developed, tested, and launched new engine series and options. Currently I am mainly working as a Senior Project Manager on strategic projects.TEAM BUILDING & LEADERSHIPIn recent years, I’ve been recognized for leadership potential. I have mentored interns, trained engineers, and improved capabilities of a start-up engine R&D team. I enjoy managing people, budgets, and rapidly changing priorities to meet demands while streamlining processes, cutting costs, and inspiring superior performance. ENGINEERING EXPERTISEThroughout my career, I have supervised R&D teams and coordinated task forces in developing new systems, testing engines / components, and resolving critical field engine failures. I offer broad knowledge of engines and engine-powered equipment, and was the go-to person for MTU’s Low Power Range (LPR) engine series ranging from 134hp to >600hp used in off-highway applications until my role switched to project Management covering MTU's complete engine power range. Over time, I started to work closely with customers (from OEMs to tier-4 organizations) to determine needs, solve problems, and create customized solutions that boost efficiency and performance.
