I have a Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering degree from the University of Cape Town. My degree consisted of two thirds Mechanical Engineering and one third Electrical Engineering. My main mechanical courses included  thermodynamics, mechanical vibrations, dynamics, machine element design and product design. I have experience working with Solidworks as this was the software used in the design courses.My electrical courses  included embedded systems, control systems and mechatronic design and Computer Integrated Manufacture (CIM) .I am proficient in analyzing, designing and testing electrical circuits. I have experience with coding and working with a variety of Micro controllers. (STM32, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Adafruits) and sensors. During my university holidays I completed an internship as a hardware engineer. I have attached a report to detail this internship.I have a insatiable desire for knowledge. I taught myself coding during my University Holidays. I am proficient in Python(Currently completing online courses in AI and Machine learning) , Python Flask, Javascript, CSS, HTML, Angular.js, Node.js and Ionic. I completed a software developer internship for the same company as previously mentioned. I gained exposure and experience in full stack development. My internship focused on back end development where I gained experience in using Python Flask, Django, Docker  and RabbitMQ.
