I am a full-stack web developer who comes from an education background, but am looking for a career change after many years of teaching at the elementary level. For years I worked as a teacher and helped spearhead science and technology initiatives in school such as starting a Robotics Club and planning lessons around the use technology as a means for the students to express themselves. When the Covid pandemic forced many teachers online, I had to adapt and offered to help the school showcase the students' work through the creation of websites, but my skills at web design at the time were non-existent. Therefore, I decided to complete my diploma as a full-stack web developer to allow me to pursue my passion of creating and designing websites while further expanding my knowledge of the subject.
