I am a Financial Executive with several years of experience in finance and administration gained at Italian and international manufacturing and distribution companies. I have been in charge of general accounting, financial planning, forecasting and reporting in addition to internal audit and tax compliance, enabling me to perfect my skills and reach the position of CFO that I have held for the past 19 years. In this role, I was required to handle the strategic planning and execution of mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate restructuring projects in Italy and abroad. My position in a multinational environment enabled me to acquire a good working knowledge of several European accounting systems and USGAAP. Officer (appointed by proxy) for the various companies and member of the Group’s Finance Council.Main achievements- Reviewed the European organizational and corporate structure, resulting in mergers and the elimination of non-strategic business units in order to meet business needs: from 10 to 5 business units, leading to a considerable drop in overheads and corporate/tax obligations- Proactively supported and managed two UK acquisitions over six months (2012), successfully achieving team integration, reviewing accounting processes in order to align them to Group policy, and implementing the new reporting package - Implemented a new ERP system in the Netherlands and UK- Centralized finance operations at a single location, setting up a "Shared Services Group" to perform all the necessary tasks for European countries with a team of multinational and multilingual resources. The new organisation improved the level of control and efficiency, also on account of the elimination of geographical constraints. Achieved annual savings of at least €100K in travel expenses and €100K for personnel costs by eliminating redundant staff. -

Officer (appointed by proxy) for the company and main contact for the US finance team for any financial issues.Main achievements:• Completed the first self-managed and self-financed acquisition in Europe, requiring integration of operations and processes• Set up a customized bonus plan for each company department with clear metrics and achievable targets. This tool helped to achieve several improvements in KPIs referring to Working Capital and G&A expenses: 19 day reduction in inventory outstanding (DIO), 24 day increase in payables outstanding (DPO), €0.13 reduction in the average cost per shipment, and €40K reduction in selected G&A expenses per year. -
