Providing general support and advice on contracts with customers, suppliers, grid operators, insurance companies and financial institutions.• Project development: once projects are contracted, help our project engineers to coordinate the feasibility studies and obtain the necessary permits and licenses and assist in structuring the project finance, before handing over the project to our project management team.• Asset management: ensure the performance of our solar plants and satisfaction of our customers and investors, interlinking costs and revenues to the operational performance in close cooperation with external and internal O&M and finance support.

In collaboration with Program Managers and customers, my remit is to determine tests needed to verify operability of a range of automotive parts. This includes the production and update of the DV and PV test plan, working with test specialists and test engineers to perform internal tests. I have demonstrated precision in managing the test lifecycle to ensure all deadlines and compliance are met against specifications. As required, I manage the recruitment and selection of external laboratories to perform additional tests, which internal laboratory capabilities cannot fulfil. I have leadership responsibility over a team of 15 technicians, acting as a subject matter expert and escalation point for any complex problem solving. To drive continuous improvement, I monitor testing processes to gather data and produce reports following completion of each individual test to recommend further actions.

With independent ownership, I maintained the current scope of ISO17025 accreditation of the laboratory equipment pool, this enabled smooth running of systems calibration for humidity and temperature, resistance, capacitance and DC voltage. I liaised with team colleagues to work collaboratively in completing electrical manufacturing, integration and electrical maintenance on a diverse range of calibration equipment. Further projects supported included the measurement acquisition such as Bepi Colombo, ExoMars, Sentinel and Cube Sat for the Earth Observation scope.

As an integral member of the technical team, I delivered comprehensive service support to field-based service engineers on nominated products and regions. I directly helped the Service Support Manager to identify and resolve technical problems using a range of internal and external solutions, whilst communicating with field service engineers on roles and responsibilities through regular service information letters and bulletins.

Progressing from a technical assistance role, I managed all activities within the metrological laboratory, leading a team of 4 technicians conducting electronic instrument calibration and verification. I facilitated easy access to information with maintenance of internal database records, which guaranteed deadline achievement. I updated the quality manual regularly and internal quality management system to record all calibration and technical procedures. To drive continuous improvement, I oversaw internal and external audit activities, preventative and corrective action planning, whilst advising other European laboratories in calibration procedure development. I generated a preferred supplier list for projects, verifying suitability using a vendor rating index and technical comparisons to evaluate equipment and procure optimum quality and cost effective prices.
