My professional purpose is to help companies (start-ups and scale-ups) to clearly envision and realise their next-level business growth ambitions.I have over 20 years of broad business experience, having worked in consultancy, Telecom, Travel Tech and Retail across marketing, Digital, Customer Services and more holistic Customer Experience disciplines. This equips me with the cross-functional experience and business understanding to help young organizations or scale-ups prepare for the next wave of growth and professionalization.I’m an entrepreneur at heart and have built new teams from scratch (at Vodafone, Booking.com and IKEA) in completely new business areas, alongside new capabilities and new ways of working, integrated into existing business processes. I’ve led re-org designs, crafted job descriptions and led recruitment efforts as well as coached and developed new employees. I’ve contributed to the acceleration of testing, validating, improving and scaling of totally new complex lines of business at Booking.com (e.g. Flights, Attractions and Ground Transport products) through deploying scalable customer support models and implementation of a continuous feedback loop of actionable customer insights for better Product Discovery.My angle of expertise is to take an extreme customer point of view, by first of all generating a deep common understanding of the various customer segments and looking at the full customer lifecycle and end-to-end customer experience. I have an open personality and strong curiosity which enables me to naturally connect with people from different backgrounds on a deeper level, inviting openness. An essential skill to quickly generate understanding and alignment within executive teams on their growth ambitions and readiness.My strongsuit and biggest energy-driver is facilitating the cross-functional strategic thought process in a creative and inclusive way to allow thinking as big and out-of-the-box as possible. And to really get the executive team completely on the same page on the future growth ambitions and what’s needed to realize these.In developing and executing on the growth plans, my specialism is to build a scalable, product insights generating, and business growth supporting Customer Operations function.
