Permanent contract at Acolad, Luxembourg. Translation and revision (from FR, EN to IT) of documents relating to public procurement of services, supplies and works sent by the Publications Office of the European Union concerning the European institutions and agencies (OJ S series); minutes, amendments (legislative and non-legislative), studies, projects, working documents, notes, letters, etc. of the European Parliament; legal documents from the Court of Justice and the General Court; technical documents from DG Growth, EU Commission; documents from the Court of Auditors, the Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions.Responsible for the compliance of translated documents with the OPOCE “Interinstitutional Style Guide”. Controlling the linguistic quality of documents and working closely with other team members and freelancers to meet deadlines and quality requirements. Training of less experienced or newly integrated translators and evaluation of translation tests for the recruitment of new translators. Maintenance of translation memories (Trados) and management of reference documents used for translation projects (eg glossaries, terminology references, style guides etc.).

Responsible for translations/revisions of the judgments of the Court and opinions of the advocates general from French and English into Italian.

Internship and temporary contract at Eurimages, Council of Europe, Strasbourg (France). Assistant of legal department (examination of film contracts including financing plan, budget, copyright and distribution). I have participated in the meetings and negotiations held by the Executive Board of Eurimages to establish contacts with the representatives of the various Member States and in this context I have assisted the Secretariat in providing legal advice and preparing the subjects to be discussed in the negotiations.

Contract at the European Parliament, Luxemborg. I worked on a research study (“The place of audiovisual within the EU integration process”) which has subsequently been published. In the context of these activities, I had many contacts with administrators from the Commission and the European Parliament.
