I am a Clinician-Scientist specialized in cancer immunotherapy with a diverse background, encompassing basic research and clinical practice. I have a particular focus on Immuno-Oncology, Cell Therapy, Melanoma and Real-World Evidence.As a bridge between clinical medicine and basic science, I leverage my diverse experience to drive advancements in cancer treatment. My expertise spans patient care in oncology and clinical trials, as well as translational cancer immunotherapy encompassing early discovery, cell therapy, and immuno-monitoring.Currently, I lead the Tumor-Infiltrating Lymphocyte (TIL) group at CCIT-DK, a translational research unit dedicated to understanding the interactions between TILs and cancer cells. More about the TIL group at https://bit.ly/3u5YLXO.Simultaneously, I devote 50% of my time to running a melanoma/cancer immunotherapy clinic.I actively contribute to the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), primarily by focusing on editorial coverage of ESMO conferences and communications. Additionally, I serve as an Associate Professor of Clinical Oncology at the University of Copenhagen, where I teach clinical oncology and cancer research.
