I am responsible for driving and implementing underwriting practices and processes across all segments, lines of business, and industries. I work closely with Operations leadership to ensure the timely execution of underwriting strategies and the evolution of our operating model. Additionally, I lead the development of underwriting team competencies through training and monitoring underwriting authorities. I collaborate with Segment Leaders, Broker Management team, and IP Leaders to support the development of new products and deals and ensure appropriate performance metrics and controls are in place. Overall, I act as a change leader in the region, managing underwriting projects, and ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively. I also play a key role in upholding underwriting governance and integrity within the Underwriting Centre.
