I am currently employed as the financial manager & accountant by the Xenia Group of companies.

In January 2009 I started my own accounting practice to do bookkeeping/accounting work. I was assisting clients on various aspects - from the actual Pastel processing and compiling of financialstatements in CaseWare to liaising with clients and managing cash flows and debtors. I also draft management accounts for clients on an ad-hoc basis.

I moved my EAAB internship to Keller Williams to gain more exposure and international experience. At Keller Williams I was exposed to all facets of real estate and receive extensive training and assistance on each aspect of real estate.

In April 2014 I started my estate agency internship with Kolver Properties. Because Kolver Properties is a very small firm, there were no individual departments for each part of the process. This meant that I gained extensive experience in all areas of real estate, from buying and selling property to setting up and managing a rental book. While I was employed at Kolver Properties, I was also responsible for maintaining the accounting records of Kolver Properties. My duties included the actual capturing of theaccounting data, and maintaining and reconciling the rental trust account. I also assisted the auditors completing the annual financial statement on a yearly basis.

I converted my SAICA articles to SAIPA when I started with Rautenbach & Company. I was promoted to an accounting manager in the company after completing my articles. I had an article clerk and a senior bookkeeper that worked under my supervision. While giving the necessary training and advice, I had to check and make corrections before presenting their work to senior management.

I continued my SAICA articles with RSM Betty and Dickson and gained extensive auditexperience while working under supervision.

In 2005 I started my SAICA articles at Malherbe Lourens, an Audit and Accounting firm in Rivonia.
