Responsible for the overall project performance and execution.

Managed the successful development and completion of multiple Test Program Set rehost efforts for U.S. military aircraft power supplies. Responsible for the schedule, cost and outcome of all phases of development, from initial concept to final customer acceptance. Conducted engineering design reviews (PDR/CDR) and supported formal audits (FCA/PCA) while leading a cross-functional team of engineers and production staff.

Responsible for the design and integration of automated test systems for switch-mode power supplies and other power generating devices such as inverters, solar panels, battery chargers, etc. Developed instrument control and data acquisition software for automated test systems. Provided technical help, training and mentoring to newly hired and junior engineers. Instructed production staff in system assembly, wiring, fabrication and proper use of tooling. Actively involved in establishing better processes and best practices for the engineering organization.

Provided applications engineering assistance in areas such as product support, new product development and sales support. Performed ATE systems validation, developed automated test scripts and trained customers on how to use Chroma’s test executive software. Conducted hands-on instrument tests to determine electrical equipment functionality and troubleshoot the customer’s HW/SW application issues.

Perform circuit board level repairs and upgrades to new and existing back-up powering systems used to maintain broadband signal reliability for residential and commercial environments.

Responsible for the direct supervision of five computer technicians in support of Desktop Engineering, Systems Engineering and Network Engineering teams within the Information Services group.
