Marco runs the c-level communications firm, Thunder11, and has spearheaded work for an array of organizations in the fields of tech, healthcare, and public affairs. He is the author of Primitive: Tapping the Primal Drive That Powers the World's Most Successful People (Hachette, 2020), which made The Wall Street Journal's Business Best Seller list for a week (his 15 minutes of fame :) The book captures critical lessons he's learned from representing high impact clients; Forbes List billionaires, Fortune 500 CEOs, government ministers, venture capitalists, startup unicorn founders, and leaders of hospital systems and universities. Marco got his start in the agency world at Burson-Marsteller over thirty years ago, then the world's largest firm, and was hired by one of the legends of the industry, Buck Buchwald. He returned years later as a managing director in their corporate practice. He's spoken at conferences such as Collision, and has also penned opinion pieces for a range of publications, including; Business Insider, Entrepreneur, Jerusalem Post, NY Daily News, and SHRM Magazine.Marco earned his BA from UCLA in history and political science and an MA from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. He has taught as an adjunct professor of marketing at NYU, as well as entrepreneurship and public relations at Fordham University. He was recently named as a Yale Ventures Entrepreneur in Residence at Yale University.
