Het houten frame maakt Splinter uniek. Het frame is door TÜV getest en ijzersterk. Ook is het bestand tegen regen, zon en wind door een specifiek samengestelde coating. Verder zijn de onderdelen universeel waardoor iedere fietsenmaker het kan repareren.
