Started a new company in the Netherlands. This company provided services in testing, management and scrum. The vision of Emeka states that IT projects can me so much more efficient and effective if they stimulate collaboration between business and IT, focus on quality from the beginning and industrialize most processes.

Responsible for all innovations in the field of testing at the market leader in the Netherlands. Point of contact for the national and international innovation partners and the international cooperation within the Capgemini Group.

Responsible for the profit and loss for a unit of 50+ test professionals in the Amsterdam area.Actively involved in setting up test lines at the client and the (test) strategy of important assignments.

At UWV Marco was responsible for three major test projects. For Convergence GUO he added the administration of the unemployment benefits agency GUO together with those of the GAK. Convergence GUO was the first major project within the UWV that successfully completed within time and budget.With project HGO History Marco made sure all the historical data were available continuously via an XML web application. He also carried out a conversion for the OSW systems. In addition, he advised the UWV management about the testing organization after the project.

During this period Marco successfully implemented TMap within Prince2 at Tata Steel. Marco presented and defended both the business case and the PID for the IT management of Tata Steel. Marco also managed four 4 pilots during the implementation. This implementation involved Cobol, SAP, Oracle and Web-based systems.

As a test manager Marco successfully completed a Prince2/DSDM project which implemented the possibility of spread payments for the ABN AMRO credit cards. As a test consultant he was responsible for improving and monitoring the testing policy at ABN AMRO. Marco was also deputy administrator of the global Mercury TestDirector suite (Quality Center HP) at the within the ABN AMRO bank.

Together with an internal manager Marco led the central testing center TACT of 20 - 40 testers and test coordinators. This center was responsible for testing all applications within Swiss Life. Without the advice of TACT no application went into production.

During this period Marco set up the central testing center TACT within Swiss Life using a TPI assessment. This center was responsible for testing all applications within Swiss Life. According to Swiss Life this resulted in an efficiency gain of 50% and a quality improvement of 50% resulted. Marco has also made the test strategy for the Y2K problem.
