In the current project in Banking & Financial Services, I work with the client, which is a very important insurance company, in the Third-Party Risk Management function (TPRM). Because of the insurance industry, in this case, the function is more focused on the risk management side, especially the reputational, financial and environmental risk. There is no doubt that the insurance industry can play a role in accelerating the shift towards more sustainable economies. The project assigned to me consisted in replacing the responsible for the reporting, who had left the client's organization unexpectedly. Moreover, as the budget was limited, I was alone in managing this client. My task was to understand the key activities of this person and bring them forward. In addition, I had to help the CPO to address the integration of an e-procurement solution.A recent offer that we have made with my team, has the aim to introduce sustainability into the procurement process. Our project consists of a framework for integrating and implementing the sustainability strategy and criteria into the purchasing department and hence its workflow.

When I worked in Autogrill as a Junior Buyer, together with the sourcing manager and another person in my team, I was in charge of indirect purchasing for Italy and I supported other European countries, as their teams were undersized. Our team was focused more on the strategy than on the operational sourcing. So as an analyst I supported the team mostly with different types of analysis such as market intelligence analysis, spend analysis and forecasts, supporting them in defining a sourcing strategy. Besides, I supported the sourcing manager in defining the sourcing plan. I analyzed the spending to identify potential saving opportunities. I also made forecasts to understand the future demand of a product and I supported other countries in this. In my internship, I became the assistant of the project manager who was an ex-consultant with more than 20 years in the field. In the PMO department practically our principal scope was to align and inform the top management about the development of projects ongoing in the organization. If these projects were aligned with the strategy of the organization. It was our duty to collect information, key points in order to present these projects with clear and concise presentations. I was really excited about the role. I think that I naturally possess the skill to perform well in this kind of role. First, I have a structured approach for anything in my life, I’m very good at planning and organizing my life and in particular my work. I’m very committed to getting things done, I feel great satisfaction in completing my tasks on time. But the thing that makes stands out is my ability to build strong relationships with others people. I am a good listener and I value the feedback of others. I always try to empathize and understand people’s points of view. I am very empathetic, and I can inspire trust in others. I truly believe that other people are essential resources to self-improvement and learning.
