CUTA is the California state organization recognized by USA-Taekwondo to qualify athletes for competition at the Senior TKD National Championship and the US TKD Junior Olympics.The CUTA State Championship is the first step for California taekwondo athletes who want to compete on the US Olympic Team.I was appointed to the Tournament Committee (2008-2009).I am currently a Volunteer (2010 to present).2012 Tournament Committee Chairman for CUTA-So Calif State Championship2016 Nominating and Elections Committee

The new organization has been named Central Fire District of Santa Cruz County.

Redefined the Engine Company annual inspection as an effort "to make emergencies go better" and "spending time making emergencies go getter - IS TIME WELL SPENT." • Created an actionable effort for less-technical inspections where Firefighters can walk-away from their effort and recognize - that they DID A GOOD JOB, managed their time effectively, and that their efforts provided value to the community.• Hired as a temporary Fire Safety Specialist filling open positions created by retirements - over a 34-month period. Provided assistance and guidance for new-hire developing Fire Inspectors.
