Senior Software Architect
CurrentI'm responsible for dictating design choices to software developers, including but not limited to: platforms, coding and technical levels.Main goal is to gain a complete understanding of his clients’ needs and effectively communicate them to the software design team (the term "team" has been used with a wide meaning, local, near-shore and off-shore).Usually I join the project team starting from the main kick-off together with the Stakeholders and the IT Manager (rarely sooner, typically if a due diligence is required) till the final deploy.I actively participate at every project management meeting, I'm in charge to produce techincal documentation.In case of big projects (or when it is present) I'm asked to prepare techical presentations for the Joint Steering Committe.A deep business knowledge we work with is required here in Crif in order to put added value in any phase in the design phase and, mainly, when the business peolple are involved. Part of my responsibilities is to gain biz know-how before and during the project.Some role and responsibility difference emerges when called to design architectures for a Product or for a Service.
