Marcone is a Co-founder at The Bakery Brazil, one of the country's leading technology and innovation firms helping corporates to innovate like and with the best entrepreneurs. Over the past years, Marcone helped dozens of LatAm's most exciting tech companies to meet validated business opportunities with some of the largest global corporates. Formerly, Marcone was the Head of Investment for Her Majesty's Government in Latin America and the Caribbean, responsible for setting out the Government's strategy towards attracting high quality and impact investment from the region to the UK. During this time, Marcone also acted as advisor to some of the most strategic and multi-million deals of technology firms expanding to the UK and hired a talented team to lead the operations in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, Peru and Mexico. Marcone is also an angel investor, Fintech expert, Professor of Corporate Innovation at one of Brazil's largest technology universities, lecturer and CrossFit athlete during his free-time.
