Quag propose a different and innovative model of social network. We define ourselves as an interest network, we offer a service that allows people to meet based on their interests, and that encourages them to share their knowledge and experience, with the aim of promoting a new idea of sharing the knowledge each of us possesses.The aim of QUAG is to create useful, meaningful new knowledge and new connections, based on common interests shared by people all over the world, allowing Web users to exchange the most important content: the type that’s filtered and processed by human experience, the type that dwells in people’s minds, memories and hearts.

I'm developing some components for a huge web application with Hadoop, HBase and Solr (also Flume, Zookeeper, and in general all Cloudera's tools). I'm also involved in the develop of the search engine and in the analysis of users logs.
