As an Invited Professor on the Post-Graduate Course in Data Science & Business Analytics, I'm responsible for delivering and managing the Data Mining and Machine Learning, Advanced Data Mining and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Project Classes of that course. I've based the courses AI/ML ports on the Azure ML Studio as core tool.I'm also part of the Couse Managing Council.

My role of Senior Software developer Engineer consisted of building the internal processes for documentation, product lifecycle management, continues integrations, unit tests, and others. I’ve also initiated a monthly habit of having a tech workshop during lunch called “Tech Lunches”. I’ve integrated SCRUM to the Dev Team day by day. I’m also the responsible for the architecture of the new version of the product that uses Orchard CMS as a basis for the Frontend/Backend/ WebAPI services and integrates with the new Real Time Services built on top of Azure Service Bus.

As a Consultant for Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) in Portugal I work with clients to help them build and/or implement custom solutions using Microsoft technologies. In the past year I've worked as a UI/UX Dev Lead on a Telco client project working with technologies such as Silverlight, MVC, SSME, SMF, W8 App, WP7/WP8 as well as WCF, OData, PlayReady DRM and other technologies.

As a Software Developer Engineer my main responsibilities consist on the development of custom made solutions for the companies clients. Given the company's main business sector, the technologies I work with are mostly Microsoft Office Sharepoint, Info Path, Visual Studio 2008 (using mainly C#), WTF, WPF, and others.

I came to Fullsix as a intern, where I developed my masters theses project, a Flash Game Engine for 2D platform Games. During this time I developed a number of different projects for clients like SuperBock, TMN, Santander Totta, Clube Olá, Casino do Estoril, and others.

I was a tutor at Centro de Estudos do Padrão da Légua. My main responsibilities were to tutor Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Geometry to high school students. During this time I've got the opportunity to work up close with an amazing group o students, not only helping them with their school work but also teaching them other values like how to study, how to think (problem solving, lateral thinking, etc...), the importance of creativity, and how to use technology for their benefit.

I was a Founding member of the Computer Graphics group at FEUP. During the time I was an active member of the group I took the position of Project Manager, as well as Team Leader for the Artificial Intelligence Investigation and Development Team.

As an assistant of the course "ProjectoFEUP" my main responsibility was to coordinate 4 teams of 6 students, helping them develop a project for the course. This course's purpose is to help in the students integration process, not only by introducing core knowledge they will use throughout the course (like how to make a oral presentation, how to write a report and research capabilities), but also by creating a team spirit (teams are made at random and each team is made out of student form different areas).

As an Instructor for the 3D modeling using Google Sketchup, my main responsibility was to teach the tools and core knowledge about 3D modeling to a group of student of the 7th and 8th grades. In preparation for this course I was also evolved in the writing of the course's manual and support documentation.

As an assistant in the Computer Graphics course, my main responsibilities were to give assistance to Professor Augusto Sousa in his classes. My assistance consisted mainly in helping the students do the exercises proposed for that class.

As an assistant for the Software Applications Laboratory (LASO) course, my main responsibility was to give assistance in different teacher’s classes. My assistance consisted mainly in helping students solve problems in their projects. The students had to do 3 projects during this course. The first was to produce a 3D scenario and animation programmatically using C/C++ and OpenGL. The second was to produce a 3D game using also C/C++ and OpenGL and joining this with some AI produced in Prolog (the IA part was developed in another course). Finally the last project was to produce a simple graphic engine.
