Design of temporary and demountable structures, timber and steel structures, timber connections, strengthening of existing structures.

- SITE SUPERVISION: Worked on new luxury leisure facilities (RC and steel structures) and historical listed buildings. My main tasks included daily visits to construction sites, production of structural drawings and health and safety reports, architectural and engineering surveys and attending static load testing. Under my supervision, the head structural designer was able to check the progress of construction sites and ensure the full compliance with structural projects- PROJECT MANAGEMENT. I managed unexpected expenses, work schedule variations and monthly payment certificates to comply with time and budget constraints. This was achieved by keeping active relationships with clients and contractors and attending weekly technical meetings on site.- HEALTH AND SAFETY SUPERVISION. Thanks to frequent inspections to construction sites, I ensured that health and safety prescriptions were followed throughout the construction process.

- Developed various Grasshopper tools to assist in physical and environmental simulations for buildings. Thanks to these tools architects and designers were able to automate and speed up different parts of the design process. - Collaborated with design teams for both research and ongoing projects, working on different scale projects, from street furniture to a gridshell covering for the new train station of Lyon. - Prototype design and construction. Within the research project of a vertical axis wind turbine I managed the design and construction of a 1:100 scale prototype of the main truss.

My main tasks include on-site measurements and sketching, photographic surveys and drafting of plans, sections elevations and technical details.
